The Soft Approach
Legendary punks The Soft Boys -- a band who influenced R.E.M. and Blur, amongst others -- have re-formed and play Bristol tonight (Thursday). The gig at the Fleece is part of the band's first tour since they split in 1981 and features the 1980 lineup: Robyn Hitchcock, Kimberley Rew, Morris Windsor, and Matthew Seligman. It coincides with the re-release of The Soft Boys' classic album, Underwater Moonlight, 21 years after its original release.
